Fighting racism and discrimination & Mental Health and Youth Well-Being
Fighting Racism and Discrimination
Our mural aims to fight against racism and discrimination by representing a united and diverse population. People from different origins, religions, identities, and physical conditions are shown together, all at the same level and holding hands to symbolize equality and solidarity. In contrast, the background shows a gloomy scene of conflict, highlighting the importance of unity.

Mental Health and Youth Well-Being
The mural is an image on the theme of mental health and youth well-being. The message is against bullying, as it affects the mental health of young people.
At the top of the mural there is the slogan “Harassment Destroys” written in green – the color against harassment, as green symbolizes hope - and it is written in a semicircle so as to imprison the child.
The background of the painting is a schoolyard wall, with bright red tomatoes smashed against the wall. In the center, a young boy is crouched against that wall. There are speech bubbles, like in comic books, containing many criticisms against the boy, like “you’re ugly”, “you’re useless”.
The painting represents the scene in a realistic style, like a picture. The child and the wall are seen from below to create a sense of oppression and superiority over the child. The dark atmosphere is represented by the color black, with encompasses the contours of the painting, highlighting the child while creating an oppressive atmosphere.
