Murder and Mayhem at Montague Manor as the title suggests is a classic whodunit play set at Montague Manor. The Butler raised the alarm when the Earl did not come down for his breakfast. The last person to see him alive was his son Monty Montague. He says that they stayed up late the evening before, playing snooker, drinking expensive cognac and that his father went to bed shortly after midnight. The police are called and the famous British Inspector Charley Chesterton arrives on the scene.
He quickly realises that this is no ordinary case. Several telling items have been stolen from the manor and it would seem that everyone in the house has reason to have wished the old Earl Montague dead.
Inspector Chesterton and his reliant PC Tucker are put to task to solve the crime and bring our culprit to justice.
